Chapter 19

Hovered over Erikka on the bed, Chuck licked his lips, tasting her on his tongue. Her eyes remain half-mast from coming.

The two of them were vastly different. She lived for the day, hoping for any sign her sister was still alive. He looked forward to tomorrow, wondering when would be the next time she touched him, looked at him, trusted him.
